USTC interview questions

It all started with a brief, 30-minute Zoom call with Professor Yang and his senior lab manager. This wasn't a deep technical dive but more of a vibe check. They asked about my PhD research, my motivation for applying to their lab specifically, and my long-term career goals (Did I see myself in academia or industry?). Professor Yang was sharp and asked a brilliant, high-level question about how I would adapt my previous work to a new system.
