I applied to Unaka on June 26, 2025, and was quickly scheduled for a phone interview the following day (June 27) at 11:15 AM with the VP of HR and another associate. The process started efficiently, and I appreciated the quick turnaround.
However, after the interview, I received no communication. I followed up on July 7, 2025, but never received a response. Then, on August 26, 2025, the VP of HR reached out to me via LinkedIn, stating that my background and certifications could be a good fit for their needs. I responded, politely reminding her that we had already spoken in June, but expressing interest in continuing the conversation and asking if this would be considered a second-round discussion. Unfortunately, I never received a reply, and I was ghosted once again.
Overall, my experience was frustrating and disappointing. The lack of communication and follow-through reflects poorly on the company’s professionalism and organization. It seemed as though they had forgotten about the initial interview altogether. That makes a strong statement about how they value their candidates for employment.
