They mostly just want to see genuine interest in your prospective position and of course remember to dress in business casual. Unfortunately despite applying for Merchandise, I didn't get my job offer in that department since my availability didn't line up with the job. Which was fine because I was offered three different positions in different departments since I put a willingness to work in any department on my application. I took an offer for food and beverage the same interview and was hired the same day.
