I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Universal Orlando Resort (Orlando, FL) in May 2019
Interview
The whole processes happened pretty quickly. The beginning of the interview almost felt like answering a survey, but mainly served as a basis for understanding what responsibilities you are comfortable handling. After they asked what experience I have and if you have reliable transportation.

Interview
Fairly simple, I was asked if I could lift 50lbs and asked if I was comfortable standing outside in heat with or without proper accommodations. The interview was performed over the phone.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Universal Orlando Resort (Orlando, FL) in Apr 2018
Interview
The interview is very relaxed compared to how someone who's never had a professional job interview might imagine. That person being me. The tone is set in the lobby where there's usually a universal film playing to calm your nerves. Once your name is called you shake hands with your interviewer and are escorted to their cubicle where the interview will commence. Some people go through two interviews, but I just went through one when I got my job offer. The interviewer may ask why you're applying or about any aspect of the parks you like. If you listed any previous work experience on your resume (I mentioned a brief internship), you will get asked questions of how you might have handled conflict among co-workers or how your previous responsibilities may aid in the position you're applying for. They mostly just want to see genuine interest in your prospective position and of course remember to dress in business casual.
Unfortunately despite applying for Merchandise, I didn't get my job offer in that department since my availability didn't line up with the job. Which was fine because I was offered three different positions in different departments since I put a willingness to work in any department on my application. I took an offer for food and beverage the same interview and was hired the same day.
