I attended a couple of interviews for other positions at UMich and they were usually with direct manager and very straight forward. They expect objective and clear answers. I received two job offers and accepted one. HR processing takes longer than average for other companies.

They asked about personal/professional challenges, what do I do to be organized, how do I deal with conflict, how do I respond to stress, etc.

Interview
Discussed my expectations from the job and required skills for the position. I was given an overview of what to expect. Career advancement possibilities were also discussed. The next step was talking to the lab members to see if it was a good fit for all of us.
