I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at University of Suwon (Suwŏn, Kyonggi) in May 2019
Interview
The first interview was with the Dean of the college via Skype and took about an hour. It started very casual and took a more intense turn during the middle of the interview, asking for an on-the-spot detailed lesson plan off the top of my head. The second interview was with a foreign instructor, possibly the head teacher. This was more casual and straight-forward. He told me on the spot he was looking more for a personality fit than for job qualifications that could be assessed on paper. It worked more as a casual conversation. I was offered a position a few days after the second interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Imagine you are teaching a freshmen class of 25 intermediate students. The class is 3 hours long and it's a speaking, listening, and reading class. The subject is "going abroad." Tell me 3 objectives, 3 activities, how long they would take, etc.

Interview
phone interview, then 3 face to face interviews on the same day. One with head teacher, one with head of foreign staff and one with the dean of the college.
The staff where excellent and very laid back. The interviews all different. The Korean interview was more strict and rigid.
I felt like the first two interviews were more personality based to see if you could cope with the environment of teaching adult students and if you were creative at solving problems.
The korean interview was typically about appearing to be a good fit rather than what you actually were. For anyone living in Korea they will understand what this means.
