You first have a phone interview that lasts about 30 minutes. These questions are basic workplace scenarios based on your previous experience. The second interview was a Skype panel interview with 3 hiring managers (I was interviewing from out of state). This time the questions were more about culture fit and less about work experience. I had to do a lot of self-reflecting on the spot. The 3rd interview involved meeting the rest of the team members, going to lunch, and having another panel interview in person. A bit intimidating but this time I was more prepared for those personal questions. The managers tend to build off of questions and don't necessarily use a script. Be yourself, be personable and be ambitious going into it.

I spoke with the recruiter for a phone interview. They were very timely and questioned my background. I was then invited for an interview at the office. I had to fish for the information like date/time and where the office was. Usually, the person tells you what to do when you get to the building, but I literally had to guess where to go. It was awkward because they didn't have a front desk person, and the email didn't include who to ask for when I go to the office (even though I ASKED in my email). The interviewers showed dismay that I was changing fields and I didn't feel welcomed in the space. I felt as-if they were looking down on me. They also told me they were outsourcing jobs like the one I interviewed for...so I wasn't sure why they even brought me in. I immediately emailed the recruiter after the interview saying it wasn't a mutually beneficial match.
