Urban Pubs & Bars interview questions

Interviewed through a recruitment consultancy. First interview was face to face and was asked to complete a business review on a different venue to which I applied for. Feedback was swift via the consultant and positive. Business review completed and second interview came around and it was made clear the role was for the secondary venue which the review was done for, not the role I applied for. “We get everyone on the bus and arrange the seating later”. Also, once the interviewer was made aware that I knew some people in their business, a comment was made “we could have been in a position to not have to pay for the agency fees!” After the second interview no feedback was made available for 2 weeks. I asked the recruiter to chase up and it took them another week to get hold of any news and which point I was informed I was unsuccessful. Feedback was that I wasn’t the right fit, not really constructive or something I can work with for future interviews. £170 down for the business review and it all felt a bit of a waste of time
