I originally applied as an environment art position, but they went through my portfolio deep and see the different potential for technical art. It was a little bit weird in the beginning because I have never seen companies who ask about this, but I enjoyed the first interview and I felt that they actually considered what I did. The first interview was a person and person interview talking about myself like what I like to do and what I did in the project. The second interview was a group interview and they asked about specific questions as a technical artist like what is the thought process of making it and how I made some tools. In the end, I couldn't explain the technical part well and I got rejected, but I really appreciate that they gave me a good suggestion for what I need to do instead of throwing an automatic rejection email. The interview experience gave me good inspiration and wanted to reapply the position again in the future.
