      6 Apr 2018
      Anonymous employee
      New York, NY
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Value Vinyls (New York, NY)

      Interview

I had three interviews total. The first was a phone interview with HR. Asked me what I knew about the company, if I had visited the website. The rest was behavioral based interview questions and how I could apply for current skill set to the position I was interviewing for. The second interview was with the two managers I would be working with. I went on a tour of the facility. They explained alot about their background and the business. They too asked behavioral based questions. In addition they also asked questions about my character and my interests. The third interview, I met with HR in person. They asked me a few questions about my interest in the position and my skill set and gave the opportunity for me to ask anything additional. Then shortly after I was offered the position.

Thank you so much for providing your feedback on your interview experience with us. We have found much success in asking these initial interview questions over the phone with interested candidates as it helps to quickly measure their level of interest and potential contribution to the open position. Being a small company, we operate on a leaner side than large corporations with greater resources. But even though we're small, our current process has enabled us to extract many jewels from the talent pool and welcome them to our team. Is there anything you would like to suggest we could adjust to improve the experience for both sides? We are always looking to provide a stellar impression.
