I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at VaynerMedia (San Francisco, CA) in Sept 2013
Interview
I applied online through their website because I was a big fan of Gary Vaynerchuk, and really wanted to work with his company. Maybe a week or so later, I got an email telling me they wanted to set up a skype interview with me. It's been a while now so I can't remember exact details, but I had to do two skype interviews- I believe one was with hiring people in New York and the other was with the community manager supervisors in San Francisco (which was where I had applied to work). The interview process was fine- I would almost compare it more to a first date- they just tried to get to know you and understand your personality and how you worked; very few technical questions.
Ultimately, I got the offer, and I really wanted to accept, but the finances just weren't right and it was impossible.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
More personality based questions, but they did ask who specifically you thought does a good job with brand marketing on social media and why- so have a good answer for that.
The interview was online with their HR. HR is friendly and the process was smooth. It took about 20-30 minutes, they only want to get to know the expected salary, background, etc. After HR, then we get to another round with the user.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at VaynerMedia (New York, NY) in Jun 2019
Interview
Fairly quick & easy! I went through two rounds, with two different sets of people. I received a phone call with a verbal offer and the rest is history. Really cool way of being interviewed, way less nerve wracking than most.

Question 1
What is a challenge you had in a previous role and how did you solve for it?
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at VaynerMedia (New York, NY) in Jan 2018
Interview
This is a cliquey, condescending, culty company and the interview reflects that. A lot of condescension and patronizing. Applicants were also asked to do an in depth research project/presentation with little to no guidance on expecations.

Question 1
How do you adapt to the company culture you're currently in?
