I spoke with a Veeva recruiter who asked what I was looking for in my next role. We also spoke about salary range. Next I met with a Director over the team I would be hiring into. She shared a lot of helpful information about the company and the role. And she seemed genuinely interested in getting to know me and see if it sounded like a good fit. She was transparent about the things Veeva was doing well and what they were working on. I expressed that I was anxious about the project (20-40 hrs on a mock software configuration and customer presentation). The director connected me with an employee in my area who was doing the same role. She suggested chatting with her before I committed to doing the project to make sure I wanted to attempt the project. Ultimately I accepted another role (largely in part because I didn't want to spend a whole weekend doing the project). That said, they seemed like a great company and all the people I spoke to seemed really happy in their roles.
