My hope is to address some of your concerns here, but would also encourage you to reach out to careers.ca@venterraliving.com to discuss in more detail as we want to be able to really narrow down what may have led up to your specific negative experiences and provide further clarity. The more details you're able to provide, the more prepared we'll be to prevent a recurrence for a future candidate.
Our goal is to ensure a positive experience for our residents, employees, and candidates. Our first interview is focused on finding people who are the right fit for the company culture as well as for any team they might be joining. Our assessment and unique interview questions are both intended to help us get to know candidates better. As important as it is for us to understand skills and expertise, as you mentioned, we're interested in retaining employees for the long term, so we believe it's equally important to have an understanding of what really makes our candidates tick. We feel these are both valuable tools in achieving this goal.
