I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at ViPeak Global (Chicago, IL) in Sept 2017
Interview
Last less than 20 minutes. When I came in, I had to fill a form with basic questions, name, years, address, phone number, e-mail, previous experience, desired salary, etc. After when I went to the separate room with the hiring manager. Regular question about working history. Then hiring manager explained career path, but it isn't for HR professionals, it's more for Salesperson. Starting with minimum wage and based on your performance there's a possibility to grow. Hiring manager was great, pleasant and easy to understand. The working environment is obviously new, with some light blue walls, no company name on the building, the front office girl was nice.
I applied online. I interviewed at ViPeak Global (Oak Park, IL) in Mar 2017
Interview
I was under the impression that this was an office job, but it's actually a sales job where you go to different supermarkets to sell cable services . If you past the first round, the second round is not necessarily an interview, it's more so a job shadow because it goes from 10am-7pm and I didn't like that they didn't provide any information on what you're going to be doing, nor where you're going. The interviewer took me to Walmart where I realized that this was a sales job because they set up an Xfinity booth in the middle of the electronics department of Walmart. During our lunch break the interviewer explains the position a little more what you do in sales and how you can advanced within months to a higher position and it's a commissioned based position. If you turned down the offer they immediately order you an Uber ride to send you back to the office.
If you're looking for a sales job you can apply for this company, but this isn't what I was looking for and I wish they did a better job at telling what kind of job this is from the get-go . It's very misleading to say the least. I recommend they should the change job title from marketing assistant to sales representative or brand ambassador.

Interview
I started with an email and I actually had the ability to book myself in for an interview. I sat down with the newly promoted assistant manager, his name was Yanni and he was super excited just to meet with me. He told me there was a great opportunity here and he saw the potential in me to do it and I came back for a second round interview.
Over the second round interview, they showed me the ins and outs of the company. As well as the pros and cons, and as well bought me free lunch while they did it. At the end of the day, I sat down with Yanni again and he decided to give me a shot.
Now I have been here for 2 months and am going to a national conference in New York for all of the Rising Stars and potential managers to increase my knowledge and wealth. Super Grateful
