WITHIN interview questions

Passed basic 1st phone screening (though the recruiter was really digging for why I had left my previous role - kept prying as if we were two friends catching up at a cafe... thought this was odd) and was prompted to do a creative assessment. Submitted creative assessment (they called it "Take Home Test," though extensive, it was unpaid) and was told they'd like to move forward with me. After scheduling and confirming the next interview, they emailed only a couple hours before the scheduled interview time that the team had "shifted focus" and therefore had to cancel the interview process. I replied back to the recruiter and instead of using their original company email address (which they had originally used for communication with me), they replied using the company's generic no-reply email... DO NOT trust these people.
