Here are the most commonly searched roles for interview reports -
Passed basic 1st phone screening (though the recruiter was really digging for why I had left my previous role - kept prying as if we were two friends catching up at a cafe... thought this was odd) and was prompted to do a creative assessment.
Submitted creative assessment (they called it "Take Home Test," though extensive, it was unpaid) and was told they'd like to move forward with me.
After scheduling and confirming the next interview, they emailed only a couple hours before the scheduled interview time that the team had "shifted focus" and therefore had to cancel the interview process. I replied back to the recruiter and instead of using their original company email address (which they had originally used for communication with me), they replied using the company's generic no-reply email... DO NOT trust these people.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at WITHIN (Long Island City, NY) in May 2026
Interview
Had an introductory conversation with the recruiter regarding the position and team, completed a series of assessment tests, and was subsequently assigned a take-home project to demonstrate my creative thinking, problem-solving, and AI execution skills.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Would you be able to work from the office four days a week?
They work with a billion different recruitment agencies. It seems like they’re either having a hard time filling their paid media positions or scams are being run in their name. On paper, the role looks great but they require 4 days in office for their LIC office. Public transportation would be a hassle for me and they don’t have employee parking so I turned down the offer of moving to their next round. I’m only writing this because since that initial call I’ve since had 6 recruiters all from different companies reach out for the same exact role. I’m not sure if these are legit partners or scam recruiters so just want to let people to beware.
