I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Waffle House (Morrow, GA) in Sept 2014
Interview
Talked with manager for about ten minutes about my experience in restaurant. They ask about criminal background and they will check it but will hire mostly anyone even if you have no experience. No drug test but you will get it if you get hurt or there is some reason they think you need one. They ask if you are open to cover if possible.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Waffle House (Fort Lauderdale, FL) in Nov 2018
Interview
Hiring process was good as long as you keep track on it. (Call the unit to make sure they check out your application.) You can get 1 or 2 interview then they decide if they will put you through to orientation. Pass all that and you'll start your training.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Waffle House (Moncks Corner, SC) in Mar 2016
Interview
The interview was short and sweet. I was told then and there whether I was going to be furthered in the hiring process. My best advice is to look like you take care of your appearance and to speak clearly. The second interview was the same and I was sent straight to training. Training wasn't difficult and it won't be for you unless you're shy or soft spoken.
