I applied online. I interviewed at Walgreens (Riverview, FL) in Feb 2024
Interview
If you have previously worked for Walgreens and left in good standing, they're very likely to hire you back. When I did my interview to be rehired in 2024, the store manager told me that it was mainly just for formality. The store manager told me that once a part of the WAGS family, always part of the WAGS family.
My original interview in 2021 was also fairly easy. The most important thing is that you have the required licensing/certifications for your position, as well as good customer service.
Focused on customer oriented skills - desired you to have a PTCB certification - interview itself was very minimal, more just basic questions about yourself and it seemed like you were going to get hired from the start even without the interview.
It took 15 minutes, went very smoothly as the person interviewing me made sure I was comfortable and it was not awkward. I recommend working here if you are a student looking for part time work
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How do you work with customers/patients in a difficult situation
The interview process was quick and to the point. Expectations were set. However manager was trying to sway me on a different position than what I was applying for leaning more towards the beauty counter just because I was a female.
