You are asked questions from a stuctured interview guide, by panel of 3-5 DMs and other operational leaders. Usually the HRG is present. You have to answer in situation, behavior, outcome format or you will be asked more questions.

Tell us about a time when you had to solve a complex problem, and someone was not happy with your work or result. What was the situation, what problem did you solve, and why was someone unhappy with your resilution?
The interview was definately more analytical than most store manager opportunities, and was really focusing on marketplace trends and not at all on overall good fit for company culture or teams
The DM was nice and professional. Was transparent in his questions and wanted feedback from me. Up front with the condition of the store he was thinking of putting me in and asked if I was up for the challenge.
