There is online training that has to be done, you can either complete it on their website by logging in, or they have you do it in the office before your interview. After that they interview you, by asking a series of questions
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What kind of management style do you think is the best?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Walgreens (Corvallis, OR) in Apr 2015
Interview
I met a recruiter at a career fair. I gave them my resume and they called me later that evening and scheduled an interview the next morning. The interview was really straightforward and had generic questions. I had to also pass a skills assessment online and pass a drug test.

Question 1
Give an example of when you had a conflict with another coworker and how did you solve it.
Friendly and encouraging, easy flow of conversation. One of the better interviews I've ever had. Reviewing the STAR/behavioral interview process was helpful, but Walgreens also informs you before the interview and right at the beginning of the interview what to expect. Also was informed of the next steps assuming the hiring process went forward once the interview was done, which was nice

I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Walgreens (Gainesville, FL) in Sept 2018
Interview
Met them at a University recruiting event. Was contacted for an interview. Interview was conducted by two employees. All questions were behavioral. Definitely know your experiences very well and be able to thoroughly talk about them.
