The process was extremely long and daunting. It took over 2 months with a total of 5 rounds. The first round was a recruiter call. Second was an interview with the hiring manager, and the third was with a director. The fourth round was a panel with 3 members of the team. The fifth and final round was with a VP. I did not hear an update after a week from my last interview. I reached out and was told they would have an update soon. Another two weeks went by, and still I had no update. I asked AGAIN for an update only to be told they went with another candidate. After two months and 5 rounds I would have expected a bit more respect than that. I would have expected they would have reached out to me before I had to reach out twice. If I didn't ask a second time for an update, I am pretty confident they would have ghosted me.
