I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Wayve (Leonberg, Baden-Wurttemberg) in Jan 2026
Interview
Impressive experience and highly flexible hiring process:
I recently went through the recruitment process at Wayve, which included 6 interviews and a full afternoon at the office.
Pros: The HR team does an outstanding job guiding me through the interviews and actively seeking my feedback. A personal highlight was the opportunity to take a ride in the prototype vehicle—the technology is truly impressive.
What stood out most was the company's flexibility: When it became clear that the initial role wasn't the perfect fit for me, Wayve was agile enough to identify a different position that aligned much better with my profile. This level of adaptability is rare and speaks for their culture.
Cons/Advice: The transition to the new role happened towards the very end of the process. While the outcome was great, identifying this fit a bit earlier would have made the initial conversations even more focused.
Overall, a very positive experience that shows how quickly the company can adapt to find the best setup for both sides.

This is great to read, especially the part about flexibility.
We’re glad the team were able to adapt and find a role that was a better fit as the process unfolded. That kind of shift doesn’t always happen perfectly, so your point about timing is a fair one and something we can keep improving.
Thanks for taking the time to share this, and great to have you joining our team!
