I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Webco Manufacturing (Olathe, KS) in Jan 2020

Interview

Weld test, spray mig. Fillet weld. I practiced my quarter inch and 3/8 welds around 28v and 300ipm to prepare for this test. Multi pass and single pass welds will be tested.

Basic math on paper, measurement reading test.. simple blueprint etc. basic weld shop interview.

short sweet full of empty promises never heard so much crap in such a short period. Lies are all they will feed to you and they pay these people well to get you to bite. I feel the fool for spending the little time I did there. If you are considering this and are not a felon walk away cuz that's who they are looking to hire from my experience.

The most important attributes we look for are a positive attitude, the ability to learn, and taking pride in the work that we do. We hire folks with all kinds of backgrounds, and experiences.

I applied through other source. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Webco Manufacturing (Olathe, KS) in Jul 2012

Interview

The interview process was rather quick and easy. The actual application process was more cumbersome than the actual interview. After my initial interview, I was contacted the next day to schedule a second interview with the HR director and CEO of the company. Both interviews lasted less than 15 minutes, and i was made a job offer at the end of the second interview.
