I wish to leave a note on the recent recruitment process for a role I have interviewed for at Wellhub. The first contacts have been smooth and all looked well. I have been through a first interview that was very pleasant with a good introduction about the role, the Company and the benefits (all looked pretty great I must say). Unfortunately, after that, the process has been very inconsistent, lots of exchanges to set up a second interview where we went deeper into my experience and the challenges of the role. I was given a timeline of max 2 weeks to receive a feedback. I have written some thank you notes after the interview and some emails after 3 weeks to follow up on the process. It has now been 4 weeks without any reply or acknowledgement of my emails. The role has been reposted since then, so I gathered that I was not shortlisted but I would at least have appreciated a rejection note if not a call with some feedback. In my opinion, a Company should always give feedback no matter the role. However, especially when applying for senior positions within the organization, this should be a must. It is a shame since the values that are advertised in the website are great on paper but not applied at recruitment stage (which is the key entry point in any organization). Such process could eventually damage the employer branding and the capacity of attracting candidates.
