I applied online. I interviewed at Wells Pharmacy Network (Ocala, FL) in Jan 2019
Interview
It was pretty relaxed, they asked me to fill out some paperwork and then I spoke only to the manager of the shipping department. He gave me a tour. We spoke about the job and then when we got to salary we agreed on a number and then he was very fast to say that I cannot discuss that with anyone else employed there because they would “be upset that they don’t make that much”. I chose to overlook that one thing because of the benefits and reliable hours and the fact that they seemed supportive of my situation as I have family members who I care for and I have a chronic illness. That did not seem to be a problem for them and that was what I was looking for in a job. This was not true in fact I regret working there it was awful for my family and my mental health as well as triggered my chronic illness to flare.

Interview
Strange interview experience. Had an initial phone interview with the recently hired Senior Director of Marketing. Everything went fine - she set up a second phone interview for the next day with the newly hired (3-weeks) Creative Director and that interview also went fine. Three days later (Friday) the hiring manager emailed to ask if I could come in the next week for an in-person interview at the office. I emailed back via Indeed less than 1 hour later and nothing. I emailed a second time using her work email and still nothing but radio silence. I called her on Monday and Wednesday the following week and got her voicemail both times. Left 2 messages for her stating I had availability to meet everyone in the office. They GHOSTED me big time. I understand if, since the request to meet in person, they decided to offer the position to someone else but really? A simple courtesy email would have been a nice gesture. I've heard of potential employees ghosting recruiters but being ghosted by the hiring manager after 2 interviews and a request for a 3rd in-person interview is a new one on me. Onwards and upwards to a better opportunity!
