I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Wellspring Consulting (Boston, MA) in Oct 2016
Interview
I submitted my resume by emailing the HR team. Three weeks later they asked me to interview at one of their offices. I went in for an interview, followed up with thank you notes, but did not hear back for over a month. turns out I did not get the job...

Question 1
I had two back to back interviews. Both involved behavioral and case-based questions. The behavioral questions were fairly straight forward: why consulting? why wellspring? why social sector? walk through your resume etc. The case based questions were also what you might expect. Both cases were examples of clients my interviewers had previously worked with. Consulting for nonprofits, e.g. raising funds, providing more services to certain demographics. very little math, mostly thought based approaches

Interview
four interviews, 1 hour each with a case (20-30minutes)+ fit questions + interviewee Q&A all four senior members I met with were highly respectful and engaging and spoke very highly of the firm's work culture. Cases were pretty standard, nonprofit based. Would probably be best to practice with a partner without adhering to a very strict framework/structure, but rather opt for a more discourse-based, interactive approach to casing (it's what the partners seemed to prefer)
