I applied online. I interviewed at Western Power Sports in Jul 2025
Interview
The interview process was great. Clear communication on interview questions as well as scheduling interviews. There was a screening interview with HR then an in-person interview. Both went really well and all WPS representatives I interacted with were very personable and easy to communicate with. In-person interview was about an hour and they had a few examples ready for me to identify potential seasonal trends and reorder points. Nothing too complicated. There were several ‘tell us about a time when…’ questions dealing with vendor management and challenging situations. It was like an open forum and a great conversation leaving me with clarity about the position and requirements.
In the end I decided I’d like to keep looking for a remote position over the hybrid model the company has in place.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Looking at these snapshots of monthly forecast would you consider this item to have seasonality? And if there is a 5 month lead time when would you order to have product available for x month.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Western Power Sports (Boise, ID) in Apr 2018
Interview
The interview consisted of a mock sales call in which I was presented with questions. Some of the questions I could answer. Others were totally beyond my knowledge, maybe intentionally to see how I'd adapt.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Western Power Sports (Rancho Cucamonga, CA) in Apr 2022
Interview
Great Interview! Felt like I was being listened to as well as understanding what the company is looking for in a employee. Also, a good understanding of the job and what is expected of the daily routine.
