I couldn't agree more, lack of respect would be minisculizing their managers aptitude. It goes beyond respect to the point of political views and ethnical backgrounds, since they love to talk about "lacking" backgrounds when you have 20 years experience almost. Too bad that manager that cant get his act together is worried about the minority taking his job. Give me a break.
