It was 3 rounds of interview. I really enjoyed meeting the CEO, COO and VP of Sales. I was not impressed with the current temp working as a CFO. He did not ask me any technical questions during the interview and refused to answer my questions about the company and his background. In addition, he felt uncomfortable when I asked him to be transparent about the company’s financials and current cash flow. That made me very concerned , so I lost my interest for this role. I would recommend that the Supervisor interviews the Candidates in the beginning and then other Executives would continue the interview process. Currently, the candidates go through the interview with Executives in the beginning just to find out that they may not get along with their potential immediate supervisor. It might be a waste of time for the candidates.
