      English Teacher Interview

      20 Jan 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Wilmington, NC
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Winglish (Wilmington, NC) in Aug 2015

      Interview

The interview and training happened at once. If you are called in to interview, you are actually called in to train. This involved watching about four hours of vidoees by South Korean people whose command of the English language is poor. English, in South Korea, is big business. This company seeks to exploit this fact, and will exploit you to gain their ends.

      English Teacher Interview

      10 Mar 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Wilmington, NC
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Winglish (Wilmington, NC) in Oct 2015

      Interview

I showed up and they just gave me the job without asking a lot of questions. (A red flag.) Training was over 2 days (4 hours each) and was just me practicing a phone conversation and teaching out of the book. (The textbook had a lot of errors.)

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Just asked me to describe my work experience and if I had any teaching experience. Nothing else.
