I had an overall positive experience, but for a company that has so much guaranteed revenue they are stingy with the offers.
I did a 1v1 phone interview with the hiring manager and then a MS Teams panel interview with 2v1 breakout sessions. The people were friendly, and they accommodated my schedule well enough. I was just dismayed when the offer came through, because they were made aware of a competitor's offer beforehand, which was substantially higher. The competitor also would not have required relocation. Because the Raleigh-Durham area is so much more expensive for housing, they would have had to offer at least the same salary. Ultimately, Wolfspeed's offer was a pay cut, and I don't understand how they can be so myopic during a labor shortage.
