I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Woo Agency (Culver City, CA) in Feb 2024
Interview
Not a huge fan… they basically only interviewed me to say that had another option. Started the interview by saying they wanted someone with a higher title, so not sure why they wasted my time

Question 1
They opened the interview by telling me I wasn’t experienced enough… like why waste my time?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Woo Agency (Los Angeles, CA) in Mar 2022
Interview
Terrible. They will retract your offer if you try to negotiate. First they low balled me way under industry standard. I explained why I’m asking for a high base or was also willing to take on sign on bonus instead since I’d be losing out on a massive yearly bonus. And instead of trying to make something work they retracted the offer… seems like I dodged a massive bullet. Who would even want to work at a company where your needs aren’t met nor even considered.

Very fast, the interviewers (agency owners) don't really know too much so it's pretty easy to dazzle them with big words and point to your experience. They're really just looking for someone who says they can do the job.
The interview is mostly about your vibe and if you're willing to play their game. If they sense you'll have an issue with how their agency is run, then they'll go with someone else. They really just want someone who has a good vibe, says they can do the job, and won't challenge them too much.

Question 1
There won't be any hardball questions. Just sit there, be authentic and confident, and you'll get the job.
