The owner will bring you in & basically talk to you for an hour about all of her problems. She will not ask if you are even qualified. She only cares if you have a valid license & will listen to her drama.

Started with a 10 to 15 minute phone interview with being told a bit about the history and what current possible expectations were for work hours
After the phone interview, invitation to come in a do a paperwork application to thw position, followed by a 15 to 20 minute hands-on practical

I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Woodhouse Day Spa (Leesburg, VA)
Interview
Same-day interview and was hired on the spot. They were almost desperate to hire anybody at that point. I had called and left a message about the job that was posted on Craigslist. I got a call very quickly and was asked to come in the same day.
