I was invited to an interview by the COO at the time, Jesse Opoku. There were two other guys, they were both technical people. The interview started with some technical questions, they’ve asked to do some programming on the spot. Then, it moved on to the general question.
Jesse Opoku was extremely rude. He was weird and asked personal questions, such as: he asked me why I want to move to a different company, in which I responded that I wanted to progress in my career (which is a perfectly reasonable thing to do). He then smirked and rudely asked, so how many interviews have you been to achieve this? How many companies have you approached? Firstly, I can do as may interviews as I like, mind you. Secondly, does it matter?
I was ghosted for two months, when the same guy emailed me again asking for another chat. I wasn’t keen, but I thought I could try to be professional about it. In the chat, he offered me the role and I then asked how much is the pay, which he kept deflecting. I asked the question again which he replied was only £37k, no thanks.
Dude was very rude and made a face when I kept pressing him for salary.
