      Sales Executive Interview

      12 Jul 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at XMC (New York, NY) in Jun 2017

      Interview

Very unprofessional!! What a waste of time. I spent several weeks following up after completing 3 successful interviews only to be ignored. Initially, they were looking to fill the position as quickly as possible and I was 1 of 3 candidates. After the 3rd interview I was advised that I could expect to hear something really soon; needless to say I never heard a word from them, even after following up and leaving several voicemail messages. Seems to me like I was used to fill some sort of interview quota. I certainly understand that I may have not been the candidate they were seeking; however, I am completely confused by the lack of effective communication. I spent several hours and even missed days from my current job so that I could interview with what I thought at the time was a credible company. My advice, don't waste your time; XMC has that part under control.
