      Interview

Don't waste your time, they wasted mine. Between all of those 'glowing reviews', they will string you along during the interview process. For over 2 months now, they have been talking about next steps and how busy they have been. But that's far from the truth. They will ignore emails and follow ups, only to reply when it's convenient for them and will respond same day, again when it's convenient for them. After wasting more than 2 months, they didn't even have the courtesy to follow up with me afterward. No rejection email, no phone call - nothing. I'm left wondering if they even made a hiring decision at all. Needless to say, I have zero interest in working for this agency. The complete lack of organization, preparation, and basic professionalism is a huge red flag. I can't imagine what it would be like to actually work there on a day-to-day basis. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of XCH. Your time and talents deserve so much better than this unprofessional circus of an interview process.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Xavier Creative House in Feb 2025

      Interview

I had an incredibly positive experience during the interview process at this company. It kicked off with an initial conversation with a representative from HR. The discussion was very relaxed and engaging, focusing on learning more about me, my goals, and my interest in the organization. It felt more like a two-way conversation than a typical interview, which immediately set a tone of mutual respect. Within a couple of days, I had the opportunity to meet a member of the executive leadership team. This step provided a deeper understanding of the company’s foundations, core values, and their vision for the role, the agency, and the industry at large. It was an inspiring conversation that made me even more excited about the possibility of joining. What really stood out to me was being invited to join their Talent Intelligence Network (TIN) as part of the process. It was a paid opportunity where I could work alongside the team for two weeks, gaining firsthand experience with their day-to-day operations, collaborating with team members, and contributing to client projects. This step was invaluable, as it allowed both the team and me to evaluate whether we were the right fit for each other. It’s not something you often see during an interview process, and it spoke volumes about how much they invest in building strong, mutually beneficial relationships. Another major highlight was meeting with the CEO. It’s rare for candidates to have a one-on-one meeting with the CEO during an interview process, but this company makes it a priority. The conversation was informative, fun, and genuine. Knowing that the leadership wants to personally connect with every potential team member showed me just how much they value transparency and a positive culture. After this, I met with the HR Director a day or so later and was formally offered the role. The entire process not only ensured that they found the right candidate for their team, but also allowed me to feel confident in choosing them for this next stage of my career. Overall, this was one of the most thorough, engaging, and mutually respectful interview processes I’ve experienced. The company’s dedication to its culture, values, and people shines through at every step. If you’re looking for a place that prioritizes alignment, growth, and connection, I highly recommend exploring opportunities here!

      Interview

The first interview with HR was fantastic! She is a sincere, knowledgeable and lively face for the company. I was definitely impressed and ready for next steps. I was invited to a second interview with a manager turned out to be a huge disappointment in leadership. She was 10minutes late to a 30mn video/zoom call, when she showed up she didn't turn her camera on (so I was on camera talking to an empty screen) she did not have my resume or full portfolio open and ready to discuss my work. Finally she continued to interrupt me and seemed to be solely focused on time/can I work under fast deadlines. She ended the interview by saying I could direct any additional questions via email. Unprofessional and disingenuous.

We regret that this interview fell short. Being on time with the camera on and fully prepared for the interview is the XCH standard we aspire to deliver to every candidate. Based on our core values, Respect & Candor, XCH welcomes feedback and appreciates honesty. Candidates meet several key people during the interview process, and consistency among those interviews is very important to us.
