Call with HR, then took multiple weeks for them to schedule a first round interview. Then they canceled the interview and said all candidates needed to complete a take home project first (several hour long project). Then got ghosted

Applied online, and then was contacted months later. They have a poor response time and I wonder how many applicants they actually respond for, regarding each posting. I wouldn't recommend applying, as it seems the odds are against you with such a slow response and likely too many applicants to compete against.

How many years experience do you have in programming?

Interview
There was an initial phone screen, and then a in-person behavioral interviews with HR and the managers of the group hiring you. The managers asked me about my experience, and a few light technical questions, and that was pretty much it. Much to my surprise, there was no whiteboard coding, no problem solving, nothing.
