The overall process was very negetive and lackluster. After being contacted on LinkedIn by the company themselves, I was given a questionnaire to fill out. When they were satisfied with the answers, the team lead called me for a telephonic interview and did not sound very confident themselves. They were evasive about my posting location and were only concerned about me lowering down my salary expectations and relocating to their work location in Gurugram in the matter of two days, that too during peak COVID situation in Delhi. I was even okay with that. In a second telephonic interview with the same person I had talked to in the first round, I was made an offer much lower than my expectations and the posting was given in interior Haryana. I even accepted that. Just as a query I asked if it was possible for them to give me HRA above my offered CTC. The person said that they will confirm it with the HR and let me know. And I was also told that I'd be sent the offer letter the same evening (Friday) and was asked to join from Monday. After that, till Tuesday night I got not call from them whatsoever. And since I was never contacted by mail I didn't even have the mail id of the company. I finally decided to call the number on which the telephonic interview was held. The phone was not reachable. I then texted the person that I hadn't received any offer letter when I was specifically asked to join from Monday. I recieved no response for that. Finally after waiting for two more days, I called on that number again and I was told that "But, you were never selected". I was taken aback by their response and rude behaviour. I still politely asked them if they could tell me the reason for the sudden rejection after making an offer on the second round of telephonic interview. I was told again and I quote, "We never selected you only. We were just having a casual discussion with you." I realised that if this is how toxic the work culture in the company is gonna be, maybe its a good thing only that they didn't select me. I discussed this with a few friends later on and I got to know that they know a lot of people who have left the company because of their exploitative, toxic and unprofessional work culture. Well, Good Riddance for me then!
