Two part interview. Be cautious of the first “screening”, because while they will tell you it is a screening, they will ask you for information about YLI. The second interview is with two representatives. I don’t have any major complaints, they were all pleasant people and they treated me with respect.

I was a remote applicant. After applying I heard back relatively quickly, had an initial phone screen, a first round with four people, and a second round with young people and staff I would have been supervising. The second round included facilitating an icebreaker activity. After that, I was asked for references and given a timeline as to when I’d hear a final decision, but they never called my references and never gave me an update, even after two follow up emails two and three weeks later. They were so pleasant throughout the entire interview process, I was super surprised that they ghosted me.
