I had 3 interviews with them and got rejected in the end. The motivation was a lack own knowledge of some specific technologies like Spark and Kubernetes than the problem solving skills. I was very happy since the beginning of the hiring process because after my application they answered super quickly the same day, and in general every step was very well organize. Yoyo Labs is a small company with very smart people inside. I had first a 45 minute call with the Director of Engineering to get to know my background. Then two interviews of 1hr each with the founders where they asked me technical questions that were not banal and quite challenging, but the idea was more saying how i reason. In the end i was quite annoyed because they rejected me for some technologies i could have learned by myself, and they could have realized this earlier. They are a small company for now so they can't have the risk of hiring somebody that is not creating value since the beginning, i understand this.
