I found this to be a bad experience due to unprofessionalism and lack of information of a very important factor of the job. The job was posted for a Sr. Human Resources Manager, I applied and was contacted to interview. The interviewer asked me a couple of questions, including if I saw the pay scope on the job. I gave him the pay scope noted on the job posting and he told me that the pay scope had been "revamped" since I applied. It went from 100k-125k to 75k-85k. He proceeded to ask if this was in my pay scope. I rearranged my schedule to make myself available for this interview to find out that they had drastically changed the compensation on this position and in fact changed the title by removing the "Senior" part of the original job post that I had applied to. Since this very important factor had changed after I applied and was contacted to interview, it would have been greatly appreciated to be given this information before they called me. I received 3 reminders about the interview. They could have sent me the change in pay as well, then neither one of us would have wasted our time. I find this to be unprofessional and it falls in line with all of the negative comments I see posted from current and previous employees about the operation of the business.
