I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Zoo Atlanta (Atlanta, GA) in Aug 2023
Interview
The interview was a zoom interview. There were two interviewers present. One was only present by voice. Both interviewers were pleasant in general, on time and seemed excited about their jobs and what they do. I was disappointed the interview was not in person. I live in the Atlanta area and it would have not been an issue for me to travel into the city, I feel I was not able to get a true feel for the people and environment I would be working with nor the organization of the departments. I understand that part of the job would use video internet broadcast to groups, however most of the job requires in person tasks. Part of the interview had pauses that I couldn't tell if it was me or them. And I have things at my house that I can only control so much. I.e. pet birds, and my neighbors so the distractions made it longer for me to relax. I have limited resources for alternative job interviews at this time.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Zoo Atlanta in Sept 2022
Interview
Two interviews with a teaching component. The interviewers were supportive and genuine; they wanted to know me as much as if I was a good fit for the position. I got to choose my topic for the short teach, and the interviewers interacted which made it easier for me.
