I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Zoom Communications (Dublin, Dublin) in Sept 2021
Interview
This was one bizarre interview where the recruiter pretty much told me that candidates based nearby their London office were preferred, knowing in advance that I was based in Ireland (so was the job ad). He could just email me and ask if I was willing to relocate, which was his first question. Not a great start, really.
Then, when I highlighted that my main reason to change jobs was the lack of career progression opportunities, he told me that there were quite a few people that have spent already 8 years working as CSM in Zoom, thus, career progression in Zoom meant taking on larger clients.
To top it off, when I asked him to tell me about the role and their KPIs he knew absolutely nothing! He couldn't say anything else than "this is a regular CSM role". I was shocked about his lack of interest and preparation.
The recruiter was one of the least energetic and unengaging individuals I have ever come across.
Red flags everywhere! This may be a good company to retire or work for a paycheck, but forget about doing anything meaningful there.

Interview
Kim Young initially reached out to me and conducted a phone screening for the role. She was then there through the entire process promptly keeping me updated, and answering any questions I had along the way. After the phone screening, I went through two rounds of interviews and unfortunately didn't make it past the second round. Kim was kind to let me know of this before the weekend, and followed up with me the following Monday to share the feedback she received from the team. I sincerely appreciated her kindness throughout the whole process. You hear horror stories of going through rounds of interviews and being "ghosted", not knowing what went wrong, but I had the exact opposite experience with Kim. Thank you for treating candidates like human beings!
