In general, I am very disappointed by the HR person, and in total found the process very unreasonable long and unclear. The whole application took more than 14 weeks, starting from the online form. The HR person picked me up, in a very cold manner. Even for the goodbye, he was not friendly and one could see that he is very happy that it is over. No wonder, as he started complaining about Monday (start of the week) and the work when he picked me up. He promised me to give me an answer within three weeks, which of course did not happen. He also did not reply to my email about asking the current status of the application. Then, I received a standard rejection text, in which even the gender was not specified. The hiring manager was friendly during the interview, but usually, he was more receiving than giving input in the conversation. Even during the scientific discussion, he was not providing any information nor directly making his points clear (just asking questions). So you will never know what he thinks or if he agrees with you.
