I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at cargo.one in Dec 2021
Interview
Great experience. Cargo.one has an excellent talent team, responds quickly and honestly shows all you need to know to understand if you are the right person for the role.
They do only relevant tech questions and focus on how you can deliver value. At the end of the process you also have the chance to get to know the team and people are very open and you can sense the type of culture and see if you feel aligned with them.
Relevant feedback is provided and they are professional, respectful and value your time.

Question 1
Not only tech questions, but also culture fit questions. It's great that they care about that and protect their culture.
I interviewed with them before (more than a year ago) and even though I did not end up getting an offer, I really liked the process and their transparency. I applied again when I started searching actively, after another recruiter reached out to me. She sent an inmail and message yet never responded to either, and then I was invited to an interview by another recruiter. The slides about their process were now completely outdated, and she was also unaware that I had applied before. We had a nice chat, and she promised feedback for the next day, but instead it was just ghosting. Sent not one but 3 follow-up messages and not a single reply. It's a shame, the old recruiter Eleonora took all the hiring competence with her when she left, and now it's run by deeply unprofessional people.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at cargo.one in Jan 2025
Interview
Smooth.
Everything already said here checks out.
You dont't need to be proficient in Python but need to have a good understanding of HOW system work, or interact. Security, Database, Code Review, System design questions.
What;s an extra is the Technical Debt and i think it weights more than the rest.

Question 1
What is Technical Debt? How would you handle it if you worked on a company just starting out?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at cargo.one (Madrid) in Jul 2022
Interview
With all my wide Frontend experience I didn't do my best at technical challenge and I feel I lost an opportunity to work with awesome people.
In general at cargo.one I felt all the time their kindness, you always have information about everything and people is honest and gave me constructive feedback after getting rejected.
It's been a long time I didn't feel so comfortable in a process, thank you for that. Hopefully we'll see again in future.
