I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at code d'azur in Oct 2024
Interview
Had a very positive first interview, the recruiter was friendly, enthusiastic about my experience, and even mentioned scheduling a meeting with the hiring manager. A week later, she informed me they actually wouldn’t move forward but suggested another role with a different team, promising an update. That update never came!
A few months later, I saw the same position reposted on LinkedIn. I applied again and reached out to the recruiter, who had previously added me on LinkedIn. She ghosted me twice: once on LinkedIn and again via email when I asked for feedback after being rejected for the reposted role.
Looking at the reviews here, it’s clear this company has a strong pattern of ghosting candidates. If companies like this can’t treat people respectfully, they don’t deserve good candidates and will likely continue searching endlessly. I would advice against applying to Hypersolid and code d'azur.
After applying for an position at code d'azur, I was contacted by someone from Talent Acquisition. The interview went very well, and it felt like my profile was spot on for this specific role. The recruiter seemed satisfied and promised me they would reach out the following week to schedule another interview with the role's manager...
Two weeks later, I still hadn't heard back, so I sent a polite email to follow up on the process... Nothing... Two weeks after sending the follow-up email (so one month after the interview), I reach out again politely asking if the position is no longer available, which I would totally understand. (I just want to move on at this point.)
I guess I don't need to tell you that I NEVER heard back. A review here mentions that ghosting is common with this company. If anything, my experience with code d'azur clearly attests to that.
An automated email would have given me more closure than this rude and poor experience.

Interview
It was a very long process without anyone in the lead and poor communication. There were long periods of complete silence and contradicting feedback. In the end it did not make any sense at all.
