The interview process consisted of an initial screening, followed by a second interview that included a competency exam, and concluded with a final interview with the CEO. Overall, the process was well-structured, and I was told I performed exceptionally on the exam. However, my experience in the final interview with CEO Xavier Ovize was disappointing. He came across as condescending and dismissive, seeming more interested in trying to catch me in a lie than genuinely evaluating my fit for the role—though he was unsuccessful in doing so. When discussing company benefits, such as the option for half-day Fridays in the summer in exchange for working an extra hour Monday through Thursday, he scoffed and dismissed the idea as ridiculous. While the team I interacted with was professional and competent, the leadership left much to be desired. I did not receive an offer after three rounds of interviews, but given my experience, I wouldn’t have accepted one if I had.
