I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at iAcquire (Phoenix, AZ)
Interview
When I was hired they were really looking for gutsy, "hungry", go-get-em, sales types. Hired a lot of personality. You kind of had to be a shark. They really wanted the kind of "wolf of wallstreet" style person back when I started but it mellowed out. They use to hire a lot of people, train them quick, and see who would sink or swim. A lot of turnover so it was really an easy interview. I did see them reject some people. Later they changed to a more discerning stance with a greater focus on communication, technical, and marketing skills. You had to have a good English background too- no ESL (unless they were looking for international people).
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Asked about marketing experience, tech familiarity, etc.
I met with Anita Malik for about 30 minutes and she offered me the job. No references, no verification. She seemed very aloof and had no idea what to really ask me. I was quickly handed off to another woman who seemed to have no idea how to properly interview people. The whole process was very strange.
I applied through other source. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at iAcquire (Scottsdale, AZ) in May 2012
Interview
i was asked to come back for the second interview with the VP and the person I interviewed with the first time. I showed up before my interview time with no one to know what was going on. The interviewer was not there nor answering his phone. Instead, I interviewed with another associate who believed I was on the first interview. After telling him I was on the second interview, it led to an uncomfortable and unprepared interview process. I left feeling confused and disappointed that a proper interview could not have been given - yet wouldn't want to work for such an unorganized company.
