I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at iRobot (Bedford, MA) in Feb 2015
Interview
One full day interview with nine management stakeholders. We followed up with 4 additional one hour phone conversations on technical role, and others on HR aspects. Each member of the management knew exactly what they expected and addressed responsibilities that would interact with their respective group. Impressive and intense technical focus yet comfortable personal interview atmosphere.

The interviews were casual. I spoke with a recruiter on the phone to discuss various aspects of the position and my experience. Led to an in-person interview with existing team members to discuss products and needs for the position.

Interview
One of the worst interviews I've had and I thought I would love the people based on awesome products they produce.
The interviews were not conversational and had a very strict ('robotic') methodology. There was no flow in the conversation, just onslaught of questions drilling down at you. Did not enjoy the conversation with some of the senior members of the team. I feel like I avoided a horrible corporate culture and management.
