The whole experience was odd and quite disturbing. As soon as the interview started, the interviewer tore apart everything on my resume, told me that I was "going nowhere" and that I should not be asking for the salary that I was asking for. The entire interview consisted of the interviewer berating me. In all honesty, it felt like he didn't like the fact that I was asking for a salary towards the higher end of what they were offering, and only decided to interview me so that they could put me in my place. I've never had an interaction in a supposedly professional environment quite like it. What was even stranger was that shortly after the "interview", they informed me that they wanted to put me through to the next stage of the process. Unsurprisingly, I declined.
