The interviewer, Oliver Ohrenstein, was super friendly, proactive, and very human to the process, Also, He was kind enough to give me very good feedback. He personally took the time to clarify any doubts, was always available, and handled everything with genuine care. The company is truly lucky to have someone like him representing them. Everyone I interacted with during the early stages of the process was also fantastic, approachable, smart, and inspiring. That made me even more excited about the opportunity to be part of the company. That’s why I was deeply disappointed with the final outcome. After investing so much time and effort and receiving only positive feedback, especially on my case study and presentation. I was told I wasn’t selected because I was too qualified for the role. I honestly didn’t expect that being more qualified would be a reason for disqualification, especially after clearly expressing how interested and committed I was. What was difficult for me personally was that the final decision came after a brief 30-minute call with someone who hadn’t been part of the earlier stages. After all the effort and positive feedback up to that point, it left me feeling that some key aspects of my performance may not have been fully considered.
