I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at we.CONECT (Berlin) in Jan 2019
Interview
After the initial 30 min call with one of the senior managers, I was invited for onsite interview with the same senior manager, hiring manager (her boss) and one recruiter. The interview lasted around one hour and I was invited to the next round where I received a case study (a task with one of their events, I had to submit a research of potential customers/attendees and afterwards I had a role play phone call in order to "sell" the event). Since it was just before Christmas, I was invited to the last round only 3 weeks later although I was informed that I have qualified for the next round right after my phone call with the case. Last interview was with their managing directors. They were a bit flustered, significantly late for our interview and also not prepared. They went through my CV on the spot (one of them left at one point and came back 10 mins later). They were asking questions that I already answered in the previous rounds, assuming they wanted to test if I fit their company's culture. However, one of them formed his questions in a way that seemed a bit accusatory (particularly about reasons for wanting to leave my current job). They asked me if I would have an answer for them if they had an offer for me two days after and then they didnt call me. Given that I already knew that I didnt want to work with them (I didnt get a good feeling from the managers, and I was not satisfied with their salary scheme) I didnt send a follow up email. I heard from them 4 months after my final interview, in an email they sent me informing me that they decided to go with other candidates.

Interview
Open, transparent, no standard questions. I had the opportunety to ask all questions and concerns. Open and friendly atmosphere. I had the chance to talk to a current employee to ask everything I wanted.
1 phone interview, 2 in person interviews, and one test sales call. The process was very thorough with different managers each time, so that they could make a group decision. I was very impressed.
